Purpose of this guide: iPhones using iOS 11 or a later release use the HEIC format for photos, which is approximately half the size of a standard JPG file. Unfortunately, Windows does not natively support HEIC. To remedy this, we have installed an application on your computer called CopyTrans for Windows. Converting an HEIC to a JPG is simple.
1. Right-click the HEIC image and select "Convert to JPEG with CopyTrans"
2. Your HEIC image will be converted to a JPG image, and it can now be opened by double-clicking the image as normal.
