Setting up via Authentication Phone
1.1. You can input the number you would like to be called or texted to to receive your code. This method is for the person who uses their mobile device, but doesn't want the authenticator app.
Setting up via Office phone
1.2. You can input the number you wish to be called at, along with the specific extension for your authentication code. This method is used for the person who wants to be called on their office phone rather than use their mobile device for a call, text, or the authenticator app.
Setting up via Mobile App
1.3. You can download an authenticator app (Such as the Microsoft Authenticator App) to receive notifications to verify your sign in or to use a One-time password code.
Download the Microsoft Authenticator App from the Google Play Store or App Store depending on your device, and tap on the app to begin the process. You'll be asked to sign in with your Gold Star Financial email or scan a QR code from https://aka.ms/MFASetup, to which you can then setup your sign in methods of App Notifications, One-Time Password codes, or both.
